The past three weeks have been tough for the Chiefs. They have lost 2 of their last 3, and have fallen out of contention for the top seed. Anyway, here are four takeaways from the past 3 weeks of the NFL season.

The Refs love the Eagles

I’m convinced this isn’t even a conspiracy anymore. This was flat-out obvious in the games against the Bills and Cowboys. In the Bills game, the Bills were penalized 11 times, while the Eagles were penalized only 4 times. In the Cowboys game, the refs called pass interference on a pass that was 9 feet out of bounds, and waived-off a hands to the face penalty that happened right in front of their eyes. And don’t even get me started on the no-call for the hold against Micah Parsons. Earlier in the season, the Eagles faced against the Dolphins. In that game, Miami was penalized 10 times. The Eagles? 0 times. None. This is unacceptable. The Eagles are the most bailed-out 10-1 team in all of existence. Without the refs to bail them out, they’d be at least 8-3 or 7-4 because the Cowboys would have easily won that game if the refs had handled themselves correctly. The refs are horrible, case closed.

Chargers… Fire him now!!!

I have absolutely no clue what they are doing keeping Brandon Staley as their head coach. He has a Top 5 roster in the league when healthy and yet he continues to lose close games and be unbelievably bad considering the team he is working with. He has an offensive coordinator that knows how to cook up a high-powered drive, and yet the defense is letting Jordan Love have a career year? They faced the Ravens who struggled on offense, and yet they couldn’t get more than 20 points on the board. Brandon Staley might have been brought in specifically because of his defensive talent, but he is a part of making sure the offense is good. Speaking of his defensive talent, where did it go? Doesn’t matter. What does matter, is that his defensive prowess NO LONGER EXISTS. So pull the plug, and get him out of there! Geez.

The 49ers are the Best Team in the League

The Eagles may have the best record, but the 49ers are clearly better in my eyes. The 49ers are not given penalties to bail them out of bad situations, and they still whoop the other team. The Eagles win ugly, even with the refs on their side. The Niners win dominantly, with no bias in terms of ref. If the Cowboys don’t win the NFC, I hope the 49ers do, just to absolutely whoop the Eagles in the playoffs again. The Niners offense is explosive, and their defense is amazing. Expect to see them make a good run in the postseason. And yes, I am using this to rag on the Eagles. I’n still salty from Week 9. Go Cowboys next week!

Dak Prescott is the MVP front-runner

I don’t know how long this will be the case, but as of now, he has the best stats, and he has a decent record. He is 2nd in QBR (to Brock Purdy), and he has an elite 26/6 TD/Interception ratio. He has thrown for 3,234 yards, and as of late has been the reason the Cowboys win these games. Now the other games weren’t particularly close, but against Seattle, the defense played horribly, allowing 35 points and 400 yards. And when that happens, you are typically losing. However, Dak threw for basically 300 yards (299), 3 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions. The Cowboys offense never had to punt, and put up 41 points in an outstanding effort from Dak and CeeDee. Anyway, if Dak keeps up at this pace, then the MVP is his to win.

Everyone can celebrate football, except Chargers fans (fire him!!!). So there you have it. Four takeaways from the eleventh week of the NFL season. How will these hold up during the season? I have no clue. But I guess we’ll find out. And yes, this conclusion is copied and pasted from my NFL Week 1 Overreactions: Being Way Too Conclusive article.
