Bomersbach, Ramirez, Student Council Leave Term with Gratitude for the Past and Hope for the Future

The members of the Jesuit Dallas student Council recently concluded their 2025-2026 term. Led by Student Body President Grant Bomersbach ’26 and Vice President Cash Ramirez ’26, the Council accomplished many great things and put forth many great initiatives.

Accomplishments and Initiatives:

  • Coffee With the Council: Teachers, counselors, and coaches from all grade levels met with student council members to discuss the strengths of each class and prepare for the upcoming school year.
  • Faculty Appreciation Program: Faculty members were given a personally written note and a wooden cross blessed by Father Jon Polce, SJ.
  • Club Funding: Provided club funding to the Chess Club and the Chinese Club.
  • Student Feedback: Implemented student feedback from the committee and forms where the student body could submit their feedback and ideas to the council. Submissions were reviewed regularly.
  • School Events: Planned the Freshman Mixer, Homecoming, Ranger Day, and Prom.
  • Adopt-A-Family: Facilitated Adopt-A-Family operations around Christmas Time.

The Student Council Members provided their thoughts as this year’s term came to an end:

Grant Bomersbach ’26: “Through Student Council, I am grateful to have learned from many young leaders, leaders I would’ve otherwise not crossed paths with.”
Cash Ramirez ’26: “I am extremely grateful to have been a part of a council featuring such proactive and dedicated young men, particularly in the younger guys.”
Nathan Long ’26: “I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such a great group of individuals and to learn valuable lessons about what it truly means to lead.”

Walker Heartfield ’26: “I have enjoyed the time I’ve spent with student council, and I pray for everyone’s success.”

Cameron Bare ’26: “I was proud of the way our group throughout our entire term maintained an actual friendship even as we worked to lead the school.”

Pierce Nikolai ’26: “It seemed to not matter what grade or friend group we were from; we just clicked.”

Michael Tobin ’27: “The Student Council this year was filled with productivity and positivity as we bonded together every Friday morning to discuss our wonderful school. I am grateful for all the hard work all the members put in.”

Chase Brown ’27: “It’s been amazing getting to plan and set up events where everyone can come together, connect, and hang out.”

Bennett Campbell ’27: “One thing I am grateful for during my time in the student council is the memories we have created together while at the same time being given the opportunity to serve and make a difference in the lives of the students.”

Riley Gerard ’28: “I’m grateful for all the memories and bonds we created together during the events along with the setup, cleanup, and preparation.”

Porter Pope ’28: “No words can describe how thankful I am for this past year and how much I have enjoyed working with this special group. This first year on STUCO has really affected me as a person and made me want to keep pursuing such positions again.”

Francis Munyambu ’28: “One thing I loved about Student Council is seeing people smile because of the work we did, because it makes me feel like the work I did was meaningful.”

Henry Reinhart ’29: “This year on Student Council has brought me to an important community that taught me to lead, to share ideas, and to support my brothers. I am forever grateful to be able to work in an organization like this.”

Chance Rollen ’29: “Student council has been an honor, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to hear from my peers and use their suggestions to help our community.”

Lucas Aldrey ’29: “I’m proud to have been part of STUCO this term and grateful for the chance to help make a positive impact at our school.”

Sebastian has been working for the Roundup since the beginning of his freshmen year. Within Jesuit, he is involved with the Admissions Ambassadors, Campus Ministry, and Religious Rangers. He also serves as the Outreach Coordinator for Rangers for Life and the Student Chaplain for Jesuit Swimming and Diving. Outside of Jesuit, he is involved at church and does club swimming at Dallas Mustangs Swim Team. His two favorite Netflix shows are Suits and Designated Survivor.
