Run it Back: Roundup Hopes to Repeat Last Year’s Success

-

Since 2015, with the exception of 202, The Roundup plays the Jesuit varsity football team in a game of touch football. Sadly for The Roundup, the football team typically possesses more football skill and artisan craft than the newspaper, and usually ends up victorious.

The Roundup has amassed three wins: 2016,2022, and 2024.

This all came to a shocking end, however, three years ago, when for the first time in history, The Roundup reigned supreme over varsity football, winning 79-77. Unfortunately, the victory was short lived as The Roundup lost again the next year. Thankfully, in what is known as the best rivalry of all time, The Roundup bounced back was gained their second victory last year.

This year, we go for three. This year, we run it back.

The game will be played at 4:00 at Ranger Stadium on March 28, 2025 when The Roundup hopes to destroy the football team once again in a thriller for the ages.

Stay tuned to The Roundup for more sports coverage!
