Top 4 Jesuit Approved Breakfasts You MUST Try

-

Breakfast, we all love it; we ALL CONSUME IT ALWAYS. Did you know Jesuit is home to some unique and tasteful breakfast opinions? This list, assembled with the help of a few educated individuals browsing the English Commons, will hopefully inform the rest of the student body of the gospel truth about 4 Jesuit morning favorites.

Peanut Butter and Jelly

It is seemingly out of place but 2 suggestions might alter that perception.

First, Augustine Matula ’24 declares:

“I have peanut butter and jelly for breakfast and lunch almost every day of the week”

He enjoys peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, as you can tell. His brother Lucian verifies this as truth.

In addition, a testimony from Mrs. Farrell defends a peanut butter and jelly toast sandwich. It reads:

“with toast, the peanut butter, crunchy of course, paradoxically melts into the bread”

This heavenly description, especially when coupled with Mrs. Farrell’s favorite Whole Foods’ Seduction Bread, is enough to get me up in the morning.

Mrs. Farrell’s Biscuits and Gravy

Mrs. Farrell alleges that biscuits, gravy, and sausage are the top-tier breakfast for real enthusiasts. She had this to say:

“after a long run on a Saturday or Sunday morning, I walk into the house and the aroma of the grease permeates the crisp airy morn”

Personally, I can’t help but agree. However, if not cooked by the one and only Mr. Farrell, who learned his skills from his maternal parent, then the results are perhaps uncertain.

Lox and Bagels

Lox Bagel – Tastes Better From Scratch

Mrs. Holmes recommends Lox and Bagels — smoked salmon with cream cheese, capers, onions, and chopped egg on bagels.

“It’s a real meal. It will fill you up”

Levy Mendoza is a believer in Filipino Longaniza, a plate of tender and juicy sausage always served with rice and/or eggs. He gave this testimony:

“It is so good you should add rice to it”
