Jesuit Ranger Experience Podcast Episode 7: A Debate with Peter Loh ’24 and Luke Lastelick ’25

-

Welcome to Jesuit Ranger Experience Podcast Episode 8! Today, we decided to change the format of our podcast, instead of us interviewing students or teachers, we moderated a debate between two debaters Peter Loh ’24 and Luke Lastelick ’25.

Funny enough these two guys are actually debate partners and compete against other schools regionally, state, and nationally!

The rules of this debate below are each individual will get three minutes to persuade their viewpoint, then refute on both sides.  Ben and I asked questions in response to each argument.

The debate:  the defense of the state (Peter) versus libertarianism  (Luke).

This podcast is our longest so far, but it is entertaining and hilarious! We hope you enjoy it.

Thank you to Peter and Luke for coming along on this podcast! We hope to do this in the future with these two gentlemen and are thankful for this opportunity. If you have any ideas for us, please stop by Dr. Degen’s room in B107 on Mondays during Community Time from 1:55-2:25.

Stay tuned to the Jesuit Roundup for more episodes!
