On Wednesday morning, Feb. 1, legendary QB Tom Brady announced his retirement from the NFL via Twitter. Down below is this Twitter post about this retirement:

His retirement surprised many fans, including myself, who thought that Tom Brady would come back next year for another team. But this was not the case, and he retired, and it was not like it was not a huge possibility he would not. A very nasty divorce with his 13-year wife, Gisele Bündchen, definitely played a massive role in his decision. As well as time with his children and him being wildly off the whole season, a brutal loss to the Cowboys would all play an essential factor in his decision to retire this season.
This cap’s off what is, without a doubt, the most storied career in NFL football, one that lasted for 23 seasons, won 7 rings, and held multiple career records. But the big question is, what is next for the goat of football? Well, he will do broadcasting for Fox, with which he signs a 10-year 375 million dollar contract. Tom Brady will also likely become the wealthiest NFL player beating out Roger Staubach and the first billionaire NFL player with his contract and other factors. He will also undoubtedly be very focused on his production company 199 ( he was picked 199th in the draft in the 7th round out of Michigan). Currently, the company is in work on a documentary titled Unseen Football that will feature Tom Brady. The company will also be operated by directors Joe & Anthony Russo, who are the directors of Avengers Endgame.
The future for Tom Brady looks bright, and while there is always a chance he will return. But as I see it with his investment in the production company and age, I see this as highly unlikely, and he is putting up the pads for good. The one sure thing is that Tom Brady is football’s most legendary player ever, and without a doubt the GOAT, so let’s make ten episode Netflix documentary about him.
