Social Distancing Dogs

-

If there is any silver lining to the pandemic plaguing the United States and the world, it would be that the dogs are getting some extra companionship this Spring season. Dogs can warm even the coldest, most pessimistic heart, and that’s something I and many of my peers could use now. Here are some of The Roundup Staff’s canine companions:

Stevie Degen
Editor-in-Chief Trey Ashmore’s ’20 Cavapoo, Chun Le
Managing Editor Jack Corrales’ ’20 Pointer Mix, Addie
Managing Editor Jack Corrales’ Yellow Lab, Bosco
Media Editor Silas Hartman’s Goldendoodle Brisket
Associate Editor Andrew Allred’s Pomeranian Daisy
News Editor Ashton Casey’s Yorkie Leo
Associate Editor Luis Osorio’s Schnauzer Mix, Bandido, and Husky German Shepard, Rhea
Associate Editor Colin Kittleson’s Shih tzu Belle
Associate Editor Luke Maxtone-Graham’s ’21 Goldendoodle, Teddy
Associate Editor Patricio Boy’s Shih tzu-poodle mix, Gracie
Associate Editor Jason Davis’ Black Lab, Kona

This article is a tribute to Dr. Degen’s late dog, Allie, who passed away a few weeks ago from a spleen tumor. She lived a long and happy life and is survived by Dr. Degen and Stevie.
