Rangers Football Fielding Strong Defense

-

This Friday, August 28, it all starts. Postell Stadium will be completely full with Jesuit students coming out to support their team. This season is shaping up to be yet another highly successful season for the Rangers, fielding one of the best defenses in recent years.

Football season also means that it’s time for The Roundup to publish its highly controversial, highly debatable, prediction piece (thanks to John Michael Lucido).

Jesuit vs. Arlington Bowie (7:30 Postell Stadium)
Loss
Although the Rangers will come into this game with some momentum, the Arlington Bowie offense may be too much.

Jesuit @ Plano East (7:30 Kimbrough Stadium)
Win
After the last second interception by Mac Elliott’16 to defeat Plano East last year, the Rangers will get after it early and put Plano East away.

Jesuit vs. Strake Jesuit (7:00 Postell Stadium)
Win
It’s safe to say that this game will be easy for the Rangers. In recent years, the Rangers have had their foe’s number, and this year does not look to be any different.

Jesuit @ Sunset (7:00 Sprague Field)
Win
Like the Strake game, the Rangers will have no problem defeating Sunset. Determined to advance to 3-1, the Rangers will come out and put points up early on Sunset.

Jesuit vs. Skyline (7:30 Postell Stadium)
Win
This year really is the time that Jesuit will defeat Skyline. With Skyline head coach Reggie Samples leaving to coach for Desoto, the Rangers will have a good shot at knocking the Raiders off and moving to 4-1.

Jesuit @ Irving (7:30 Irving ISD Stadium)
Win
Coming off a 56-29 victory last year, the Rangers will have no problem defeating Irving again. Hopefully, they will put up even more points on the Tigers this time around.

Jesuit @ Irving Nimitz (7:30 Irving ISD Stadium)
Win
Like Irving High, the Rangers will easily defeat Nimitz. Advancing to 6-1, the Rangers will have lots of momentum heading into the Battle for the Saddle.

Jesuit vs. WT White (7:30 Postell Stadium)
Win
Like always, the saddle will remain in the hands of the Rangers as they easily knock off WT White.

Jesuit @ Irving McArthur (7:30 Irving ISD Stadium)
Loss
Although Jesuit will go into this game with a 7-1 record, McArthur will be too much for the Rangers. McArthur is a football powerhouse, but there is no doubt that the Rangers will bounce back to knock off RL Turner.

Jesuit vs. RL Turner (7:30 Postell Stadium)
Win
The Rangers will close out the season 8-2 following their victory vs. RL Turner. The Rangers dismantled RL Turner last year and this time will be no different.

There is no doubt that everybody is hyped for this upcoming season, so come out and show the Rangers your support this Friday at 7:30.
