Review of Batman Arkham Origin Series

-

One night. One man. Countless Enemies.

Thus has been the formula for the Batman: Arkham Origins series, which has received stellar reviews for its two past installments.

While the shift of developers from Rocksteady to Warner Brothers Montreal has worried some longtime fans, according to Lucy O’Brian and Justin Davis of IGN, “Fortunately, Batman: Arkham Origins, under the hand of Warner Bros. Games Montreal, appears to have kept that [Rocksteady] core intact.”

Assuring worried fans that,”Origins is an Arkham game,” and “combat is still satisfyingly fluid.” Along with the same great gameplay mechanics comes a redefining of one of the dark knight’s core tactics, Detective Mode. Allowing Batman to go deeper into every crime, players can go back and forth on the timeline of the event, ” moving around through the environment to examine the crime from every angle and from any moment.”

Batman: Arkham Origins takes the player back to the first years of batman’s role as a hero and his confrontations between famous villains such as Bane and the Joker will be for the first time.

Also, on his tail are eight assassins hired by the Black Mask to try to kill him for $50 million. Along with these foes are the perennial Riddler trophies and side quests full of characters from the depths if batman’s lore.

Batman: Arkham Origins is bringing back the dark knight with improved detective skills, new villains, and a whole new city glide over as you fight crime and bring Gotham back from the brink of darkness.
