Congratulations to the Jesuit Wrestling team for placing 4th at the Cougar Classic this past weekend.  “It was great to see Henry [Harms] get 2nd place at his second varsity tournament. He wrestled very hard,” said Craig Hunter ’12. The whole team was determined to win their matches and try and pin their opponents if possible. “We were all looking forward to getting a team trophy this year,” said Antonio Martinez ’12.  The team looks to continue its success in the Ranger Classic this weekend, hosted by Dallas Jesuit. According to Coach Ryan Menard, “It’s one of the best tournaments in the state.” A lot of top ranked wrestlers will be there. So come on out and support the team on Friday, January 21 starting at 6:00 p. m. and Saturday, January 22 starting at 9:00 a. m.

Antonio Martinez ’12- 2nd place @ 112 lb.
Hank Ideker ’11- 3rd place @ 119 lb.
Craig Hunter ’12- 4th place @ 119 lb.
Zach Pearson ’13- 4th place @ 125 lb.
John Thompson ’11- 2nd place @ 130 lb.
Nic Bellegarde ’12- 3rd place @ 135 lb.
Cole Brewer ’13- 3rd place @ 152 lb.
