As an incoming junior at North Dallas High, I did not understand why my mother would enroll me at a new school, Jesuit High. ThankYou Mom! What the Jesuits gave me in those two years, among them personal values and principles, I have with me to this day. I am sure that you have heard many many times about Fr. Carroll’s Concentration Camp and Mr. Kammer patrolling ” the smoking tree” during lunch period. The only area a student could smoke on campus was under that tree and you had to have written permission. Well, as a result, he and I did have our moments.
