Overall, penalties seemed to be a major problem for the Rangers, and Jesuit’s six two-minute penalties, three of these in the third period, led to some chances for Frisco West to score goals at the end of the game. Frisco West would end up beating Jesuit Dallas’ gold team 7-4, scoring four goals in the third period. One positive for the Rangers in the final period was a shocking, coast-to-coast goal that Allen Zhang ’26 scored towards the end of the game, as he sped around the defenders and put the puck in the top-right corner of the net. Following the game, the Rangers would learn from the loss and start their next game, against McKinney, with some fire.
