For 84 years, The Roundup had been the voice of the student body at Jesuit. And with such a storied history, this paper needs a capable set of leaders. For this paper to function, it needs both logistical and visionary talent at the helm. I am very happy to report that we have such talent in our new leaders. With creativity, managerial knack, and passion for the paper, these three Rangers will no doubt leave The Roundup better than they found it. I give you, without further ado, your Roundup leadership for the 2026-2027 school year.
Drew Shippey ’27, Editor-in-Chief
Senior-to-be Drew Shippey was an associate editor for the 2024-2025 year, and our Sports Editor for the current 2025-2026 school year. Under his leadership, the Sports Section has seen increased output compared to last year. He has personally put out numerous sports articles over his career, and we are very sure his leadership will benefit The Roundup.
As Editor-in-Chief, he will oversee the big-picture guidance of The Roundup, requiring a vision for the future that he most certainly has. Among his other ideas were an advice column for underclassmen and a significant expansion of the Media Section. With an outgoing nature and a familiar face, Drew will make an excellent Editor-in-Chief.

Reese Beaudoin ’28, Managing Editor
The first Junior to make Managing Editor in the history of The Roundup, Reese Beaudoin ’28 will undoubtedly bring a unique administrative talent to The Roundup. An associate editor for the 2024-2025 school year and News Editor for the 2025-2026 year, he has proven his mettle with diligent supervision of his section and consistent editing of articles. His attention to detail will suit his new position very well, and we are very excited to see what he does with The Roundup.

Noah Cowley ’28, Assistant Managing Editor
Assisting Reese Beaudoin will be Noah Cowley ’28. Currently an associate editor, he does most of his work in the Viewpoint Section, writing about politics, economics, and the world at large. Because of his dedication to both writing and editing, as well as his technical skill, it was decided to make him an assistant managing editor. It would have been a waste of talent to leave him out of the decision-making curve.
I am very sure his presence will improve The Roundup at a technical, cultural, and administrative level. He is a hardworking, studious young man, and he’ll make a fine leader.
