Rangers Outlast Plano East Panthers in 57-53 Win

The bleachers packed, all of Jesuit came out to Walsh Gymnasium to support their Rangers take on the Plano East Panthers on Friday, January 11. After a slow first half, the Rangers began to pick up steam in the second half, eventually dominating from the three-point line.

With an outstanding 28 points from Max Abmas ’19, the Rangers were able to hold off the Panthers at the end, eventually winning in a hard fought battle. Julius Marble ’19 commented that it “was a hard-fought game, but we got the win.”

The Rangers are looking to win another game Friday, January 18 at home vs. McKinney Boyd. Check back to The Roundup for more news about Jesuit Basketball!
