"Fr. Provincial arrived to be here for the dedication of the new stadium (Haggar Stadium-Home of the Jesuit Rangers). Mr. and Mrs. Haggar and their two sons and wives were our guests for dinner. A brief dedication ceremony preceded the game; Fr. Edwards presented a plaque to the Haggars from the Province. (The Haggars had contributed about 1/3 of the total cost of the stadium, $125,000). The other side of the stadium must still be built. Jesuit defeated Central Catholic 18-8. The stadium was almost filled."

Turtle Creek Village sits on part of the land. On Jesuit's 50 anniversary, several alumni placed a commemorative pedestal on the property across from Holy Trinity. When the school was demolished, several graduates scrambled to find artifacts. Years later the Donald Fluesche, Sr. '45 family donated 2 bricks to Jesuit Archives and the 1963 graduates retrieved the capital for their golden anniversary. The capital is seen at the top of the column and is now in Jesuit's Prayer Garden.
