When there’s a major sporting event, many of us naturally gather around our TVs for a few hours. But is watching from a distance at home the only option? Could there be a way to feel more immersed in the live experience, as if we were actually there? That’s the idea behind Cosm, a dome that can instantly make your remote experience feel more like being at the event.

The Cosm Experience

The first Cosm experience opened on June 29, 2024, in Los Angeles, CA, and the second,
Cosm just opened in The Colony. It consists of three levels with varying prices and includes a dome that offers fans and viewers live viewing of their favorite sports, artistic masterpieces, or astronomical events. This venue is akin to the massive Sphere in Las Vegas, NV, but on a smaller scale. The screen is composed of LED Screens aligned on a wall, curving around part of the viewing space for a more immersive experience.

Seating/Hangout Areas Associated with Cosm:

The Dome – This is the main seating area surrounding the impressive dome experience that Cosm was designed for. Thanks to technology, this space provides an extremely immersive experience, almost feeling like being at the live event.

The Hall & Hall Club – When entering Cosm, visitors will see a long, open hallway with several tables next to the Cosm restaurant/bar and a large screen on a wall, extending across the hallway and curving around its edge. This screen is similar to the one in the Dome, but it doesn’t immerse the entire Hall in LEDs. It features many different screens and is situated more like a very lengthy TV. The difference between the Hall and the Hall Club is that the Club, located on the second floor, provides a better and more enhanced luxury experience with better seating.

The Deck – This area is located on the top level of Cosm, providing a rooftop experience with a DJ, rooftop bar, and ample seating space. Whether you’re under the bright sky, a stunning sunset, or the vivid stars at night, it serves as an area to reconnect with nature and the outdoors, while also offering a dazzling view of Grandscape, which is located in The Colony.

My Personal Experience

I recently visited Cosm and experienced it firsthand. Upon arriving, I found my seat on the third level and was immediately struck by a sense of disbelief – was I really at this stadium? Even as I ascended the escalator and caught my first glimpse of the Dome, it felt like I was peering into the inside of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, where the Georgia Bulldogs and Clemson Tigers were gearing up to compete. Although my favorite college football team wasn’t playing, the atmosphere was electric and the food was excellent. I was surrounded by Clemson and Georgia supporters, and their animated reactions to each team’s performance illustrated the Dome’s immersive and realistic ambiance. Even the design of the railing in our seating area resembled that of a real football stadium! If you haven’t been, I would highly recommend you visit Cosm!
