After finishing off with a 9-2 record and winning the district, Jesuit aims to win district once again and succeed as a team. On Saturday, November 12th, Jesuit Dallas opened up their season with a 15-0 win over Lake Dallas. In addition, Jesuit secured a convincing win over Irving MacArthur also shutting out MacArthur with a 15-0 win. What a way to start the season off right!

I believe that we can win our district again, as we set our eyes ot beat teams such as Lewisville and Flower Mound Marcus As long as we keep improving and working together. Lake Dallas
Christopher Ellis ’24 sealed the deal for Jesuit Bowling as he scored a combined 307 in a win out of all the other bowlers for both teams.
William Spicer ’24 and Corbin Hicks ’25 won with a score of 238-179, their highest game with a 126. Next, William Martin ’24 and Jack Golembeski ’25 bowled a solid 289-215. John Risinger ’23 dominated his dual match with a score of 302-171. Finally, Chase Hollman ’24 and Andrew Abraham ’23 bowled a 250-213 to cap things off for the bowling team.
Additionally, the Rangers had a total of 426-332 amongst their 5 bowlers, continuing to demonstrate their commodity as a team in each of their baker games.
Irving MacArthur
Kevin Martinez ’25 led the Rangers dominating with a convincing 345-187 in total score, helping them win by roughly 400 for dual matches.
In the dual match results, both Andrew Abraham ’23 and William Spicer ’24 scored a total of 262-209. Also, both Ben Fernandez ’23 and William Martin ’24 scored a high scoring 249 to win.
John Risinger ’23 dominated with a 281-225 score against MacArthur. As for the junior pair, Christopher Ellis and Chase Hollman scored a 282-234.
In total out of the three baker games that took place, Jesuit scored a total of 456, compared to the Cardinals 256 score in their three baker games in total.
Summary
Jesuit had two solid wins in both match play and the bakers game against both schools, and look to build on that next week against Nimitz. I’m impressed by the numbers each bowler has put up so far in the first two matches, and it is impressive to see a double shutout, something you don’t see often. It explains their preparation, which has paid off significantly in the off-season.
