The NFL Wild Card round had so many great games. From upsets to huge comebacks with record-breaking plays. So for those who missed all these great Wild Card games, let me catch you up on all the Wildcard games. (Except for the Cowboys, they deserve their own article).
Saturday:
49ers vs. Seahawks
This was the least exciting game out of all the Wild Card games this weekend. The first quarter looked like a good game. With the Seahawks coming out on top by 17-16 at halftime to Brock Purdy 49ers which, by the way, is the only Mr. Irrelevant to be the starting QB on a team for a playoff game. The 3rd quarter would not see much action, with only a touchdown by the 49ers with 10:51 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. Until the 4th quarter, the game was still close, but the 49ers would score 17 points while keeping the Seahawks scoreless. The Seahawks would score a touchdown with 1:48 minutes left in the game, scoring 41-23.
Brock Purdy had an excellent game, throwing for 332 yards on 18-30, and had three touchdowns. Deebo Samual dominated the game with 133 yards on six receptions and had a touchdown. Christian McCaffery also had a good game with 119 yards on 15 carries. On the other side of the ball, Geno Smith throws for 253 yards on 25-35, with two touchdowns and one interception. His top receiver D.K Metcalf had 136 yards on ten receptions, with two touchdowns.
Brock Purdy became the first Mr. Irrelevant ever to win a playoff game as the starting QB. It will be hard to see how far he can take him, with their next opponent being the (Unknown). All I know is that if he keeps at this level, he can take the 49ers very far.

Jaguars vs. Chargers
This is, without a doubt, the best game to come out of this Wildcard round. This game saw the 3rd largest comeback in NFL playoff history with 27 points and the 5th ever. The first was an ugly game for the second-year Trevor Lawerence. He would throw four interceptions in the first half alone. Toward the end of the game, he would get a touchdown to make the game 27-7.
The second half saw Trevor Lawerence ball out. He would rally his Jaguars with four touchdowns. To a victory over the LA Chargers, with the final score coming off a chip shot field game as time expires, making the final score 31-30. Trevor Lawerence would have the insane stat line of 4 touchdowns and four interceptions, being the first to record a stat line like that. He also had 288 passing yards on 28-47. His running back and fellow Clemson friend Travis Etienne Jr had 109 rushing yards on 20 attempts, with a clutch long run on a fourth down attempt on the game-winning drive. On the other side of the ball, Justin Herbert had 273 yards passing, on 25-43, with only a touchdown thrown. His top receiver Gerald Everett, had 109 yards on six receptions, with one touchdown.
The Jacksonville Jaguars will be playing the Chiefs up next. Although the Chiefs will be huge favorites to beat the Jaguars, I would not count out the Jaguars, and it will be a challenging game for the Chiefs to win.

Sunday:
Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills
A pretty uneven matchup at first, with one sports commentary even saying the Dolphins, would lose 45-7 against the Buffalo Bills. While the Buffalo Bills did get the win out in this game, it was way too close for comfort for them. The Bills came out and had the earlier lead in the first quarter, up by 14-0. The Bills would kick a field goal in the second quarter with 12:46 minutes left to take the largest lead of 17-0. The Dolphins would then rally and score 17 points in the second quarter. To make the score by halftime 20-17 (Bill kicks another field goal). During the 12:50 mark of the third quarter, the Dolphins would score a touchdown to take the lead 24-20. The Bills would, however, drop two touchdowns in the third, going up 34-24. The Dolphins would score another touchdown to slash Bill’s lead to 3 points, but they would never score again if Bill won 34-31.
Bills star QB Josh Allen threw for 352 passing yards on 23-39 and had three touchdowns in the game, but he would also have two interceptions. This top receiver Stefon Diggs had 114 yards on seven receptions. On the Miami side of the ball, their QB Skylar Thompson had 220 passing yards on 18-45, with one touchdown and two interceptions. His top receiver in the game was Tyreek Hill, who only had 69 yards on seven receptions.
Although it is a bitter way to end things for Miami this season. With Tua back next season, healthy, they could be a legitimate threat in the AFC and make an excellent post-season run. As for the Buffalo Bills, their next opponent is the Cincinnati Bengals, a team that will be very hard for the Bills to beat.Â

Vikings vs. Giants
One of the most balanced matchups in the Wild Card round. The Giants would take a 14-7 lead with 24 seconds left in the first quarter. From there, they would always have that lead. The only time it was in danger was in the fourth quarter when they were tied 24-24. But the Giants would score another touchdown in the fourth quarter going up 31-24. They would stop the Vikings on the fourth down after they chose to do a ding-and-dunk play on  4th and 8, a very controversial decision by Kirk Cousins.
Daniel Jones had a great game passing for 301 yards, on 24-35, with two touchdowns. He also had 78 yards rushing on 17 attempts. His top receiver Isaiah Hodgins had 105 receiving yards on eight receptions and one touchdown. On the Viking’s side of the ball, Kirk Cousins would also have a good game with 273 yards on a very efficient 31-39 and had two touchdowns. Justin Jefferson would be very limited in this game, only having 49 yards, with the top receiver being T.J. Hockenson. He had 129 receiving yards on ten receptions.
Although it was upsetting for many fans, it was no surprise that the Vikings would lose this game, as they have been a very unbalance team all season. They would famously have the stat line of a -3 point differential. As for their future, there are many promising young stars, but they need to fix the errors that lead them to lose in the first round. The Giants will be playing the Eagles, a very difficult opponent. Still, the Eagles also had some problems this season, which is still ongoing for the Giants.

Ravens vs. Bengals
An exciting matchup between two AFC North teams. It was going to be a hard-fought battle between the two. The Bengals would come with the 9-point lead after three field goals, making it 9-0. The Ravens would drop 10 points (one touchdown and a field goal) to lead 10-9 to close out the half. Both teams would trade touchdowns in the third quarter, with the score tied up at 17-17. But in the fourth quarter, with the ball on the Cincinnati 2-yard line, the Ravens would fumble the ball, and Hubbard would take it back for a 98-yard recovery touchdown. This gave the Bengals the lead 24-17 and won them the game. The Ravens never found the end zone again.
Joe Burrow had a solid game with 209 passing yards of 23-32 completion and had one touchdown. His top receiver Ja’Marr Chase had 84 yards on nine receptions and one touchdown. On the Raven’s side, backup QB Tyler Huntley had 226 yards on 17-29 accuracy, with two touchdowns and one interception. He also had 54 rushing yards on nine attempts. His top receiver Mark Andrews had 73 yards on five receptions.
The Raven’s future is still up in the air; with them not paying Lamer the money and injury this season, he might leave for another team, giving the Raven a vast disadvantage. As for the Bengals, they play the Bills, who will be a very tough, caliber team to beat.
