Jesuit Soccer Celebrates Seniors and Coach DeLong’s 600 Wins

-

Amidst the global pandemic, Jesuit Soccer still found a way to get together and celebrate their season. They were able to meet at the Shea’s house and made sure to practice social distancing, with everyone wearing masks. Jason Davis ’21 stated, “there were lots of people there and it was really fun, and we got to play soccer and tennis and it was great to see everyone again.” The team celebrated the seniors’ final times together before they head off to college, acknowledging their great soccer careers at Jesuit. They even celebrated Coach Delong’s record of 600 wins with a customize jersey.

During tough time, the soccer team managed to celebrate their accomplishments while practicing the right safety precautions. We hope that everyone stays safe and make sure to check back with the Roundup for more sports news!
