On Jesuit’s Homecoming game, their last home game of the 2025 season, Jesuit fell to Richardson 28-27. Jesuit is now sitting at 3-5 and is 3-2 during district play.

Summary
The first half saw little offense compared to the second half. With a packed crowd for Homecoming, Jesuit started the game with a 20-yard field goal from Cooper McGough ’26 and Richardson answered with two passing touchdowns. Jesuit would respond late in the second quarter with a 9-yard pass from Beck Berry ’26 to Ty Daboub ’27 to make the score 14-10 at half. In the third quarter, Jesuit quickly took the lead with a 75-yard passing touchdown from Beck to Harlan Beucler ’26 one minute into the quarter. Jesuit continued to extend their lead with a 10-yard passing touchdown from Beck to Corson Lindley ’28 and a 34-yard field goal from Cooper to make it 27-14 Jesuit. However, Richardson would make a comeback scoring two passing touchdowns, one of which came with 30 seconds left in the game, making the final 28-27 Jesuit.

Offensive Stats
The Jesuit offense produced 340 yards of offense vs Richardson. Beck Berry ’26 had a great game going 21-37 (57% completion rate) in which he threw for 219 yards, three touchdowns with one interception, and ran for 21 yards on nine attempts. Shane Parker ’26 led Jesuit in rushing with 74 yards on 9 attempts. Receiving wise, Harlan Beucler ’26 led Jesuit with 94 yards and one touchdown on nine attempts. Ty Daboub ’27 also had a receiving touchdown for Jesuit with 38 yards on four attempts.

Defensive Stats
The Jesuit defense was able to produce two turnovers, which were both interceptions from Simon McGoldrick ’27 (10-yard return) and Cabe Weissmuller ’26. Gabriel James ’26 produced one and a half sacks, which combined for nine yards for Jesuit with 13 tackles as well (five solo and eight assisted). Additionally, Cole Johnson ’27 also had 1.5 sacks for a total loss of five yards as well as six tackles (three solo and three assisted), and Tanner Krug ’26 led the team in sacks with two for a total loss of 11 yards and earned four tackles (three solo one assisted). Finally, Cole Wombacher ’26 led the team in solo tackles with nine, while also having two assisted tackles.

Conclusion
Jesuit has a chance to finish right at .500 as they will be playing at Berkner on Halloween and then they will play at Joy and Ralph Ellis Stadium vs Nimitz (a place where they seem to dominate teams) for the final game of the season on November 7th. Come out and support the Rangers!
