NFL Week 4 Power Rankings 2025
Week 2 began with an injury-plagued game between the Packers and the Commanders, with notable injuries to Jayden Daniels, Austin Ekeler, and Jayden Reed. Week 2 also brought us an overtime thriller between the Cowboys and Giants, where Brandon Aubrey secured the victory for the Cowboys, and two one-point victories, with the Colts edging out the Broncos and the Bucs beating the Texans after a Rachaad White last-second touchdown.
A lot happened in Week 2, so let’s get right into it with the No. 1 team!
- Buffalo Bills (4-0)
After a stunning 41-40 victory last week against the Ravens, the Bills stack on another win after a blowout victory against the Jets. Josh Allen didn’t really show up in Sunday’s game against the Jets, but James Cook stepped up and rushed for 2 touchdowns to secure the win.
2. Philadelphia Eagles (4-0)
Last year’s Super Bowl winners moved up to 2-0 after beating out the Chiefs in a Super Bowl rematch where the Chiefs were missing Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice. While neither of the Eagles’ first two games were blowouts, they are still ranked very high because of their extremely talented team. The Eagles are most likely going to run into another tight matchup next week against the Rams, who were the closest team to stopping their dominant playoff run last year.
3. Green Bay Packers (2-1)
The Packers showed just how dominant their new defense is after holding a Lions offense that scored 52 points in Week 2 to only 17 points in their Week 1 game. Jayden Reed suffered a collarbone injury early in their Thursday night game and is projected for a November return. While his injury has prevented any wide receiver from becoming Jordan Love’s go-to target, Tucker Kraft stepped up with an impressive performance where he posted 6 catches for 124 yards and a touchdown.
4. Los Angeles Rams (3-1)
The Rams were the closest team to taking down the Eagles in last year’s playoffs, and they look to have improved from last year. Matthew Stafford has created a strong connection with his 2 receivers, Davante Adams and Puka Nacua, and the defense has only allowed one touchdown so far. One of the biggest concerns for the Rams going into the season was Matthew Stafford’s back, but it seems to have been a very minor injury that has not affected him in their games.
5. Detroit Lions (3-1)
The Lions looked sloppy against the Packers. Jared Goff looked bad. Their running backs looked bad. And their defense didn’t do much better than the offense. But Week 2 brought the Lions an opportunity to bounce back, and bounce back they did. Jared Goff threw 5 touchdowns, and Jahmyr Gibbs averaged almost 8 yards per carry. Their defense also looked good, as they caused 2 turnovers and showed the league that the Lions are still one of the best teams in the NFL.
6. Los Angeles Chargers (3-1)
Justin Herbert has looked like one of the best quarterbacks in the league right now. He had one of the best games in his career in Week 1 against the Chiefs and posted a solid performance in Week 2 against the Raiders. He proved that last year was a fluke season and that he is ready to get the first playoff win of his career.
7. Baltimore Ravens (1-3)
The Ravens offense is one of, if not the best, in the league. They exploded for 40+ points in both of their games so far. Between the rushing duo of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry and the elite receiver talent, it is easy to see why no defense can stop them. If they manage to score 40 against the Lions Monday night, they will undoubtedly be the best offense in the NFL.
8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-1)
The Bucs won 2 extremely close games in Weeks 1 and 2, which were won by late touchdowns by Rachaad White and Emeka Egbuka. While the Bucs have gotten off to a slow start, Baker Mayfield has shown that he can, and will, show up when it matters most.

9. Washington Commanders (2-2)
The Commanders suffered many injuries in their loss to the Packers on Thursday. They lost their starting quarterback, Jayden Daniels, to a knee injury and their starting running back, Austin Ekeler, to an Achilles tear. Jayden Daniels is questionable to play their next game against the Raiders, while Austin Ekeler is out for the season, leaving the backfield to 7th-round rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt and 2023 6th-round pick Chris Rodriguez.
10. Kansas City Chiefs (2-2)
The Chiefs’ supporting cast around Patrick Mahomes is one of the worst in the league. They lost their receiver 1, Rashee Rice, to a six-game suspension and their receiver 2, Xavier Worthy, to a fluke injury where Travis Kelce and he collided, resulting in a shoulder dislocation. They also have a lackluster running back duo of Isaiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt, who combined for fewer rushing yards than Patrick Mahomes. Despite all of this, the Chief still kept both of their games, against two top-ten teams, within one score.
11. Denver Broncos (1-2)
The Broncos lost in a neck-and-neck game until the very end, where Spencer Shrader kicked a 45-yard field goal to give the Broncos their first loss of the season. Bo Nix has already thrown 3 interceptions so far this season. Last year he threw 4 interceptions in his first two games, so we are just waiting for him to settle down and find his rhythm.
12. Indianapolis Colts (3-1)
The Colts are easily the most surprising team this season. Daniel Jones has exceeded everyone’s expectations, throwing for two touchdowns and rushing for three more. His favorite target, Tyler Warren, has looked like one of the best rookies in the league. The Colts defense has also surprised many people. Their safety, Cam Bynum, leads the league in interceptions with two.
13. San Francisco 49ers (3-1)
The 49ers had one of the most injured teams last year. This year they are continuing this trend; Brock Purdy is questionable for Week 3 with a toe injury. After Brock Purdy missed Week 2, Mac Jones stepped in and threw 3 touchdowns in a win against the Saints. Other injuries include George Kittle, who is out at least until Week 6, Brandon Aiyuk, who is out at least until Week 7, and Jauan Jennings, who is questionable for Week 3.
14. Cincinnati Bengals (2-1)
Joe Burrow was injured early in the second quarter of their game against the Jaguars and is expected to miss three months with a turf toe injury. Replacing him, Jake Browning threw three interceptions but bounced back and led a 92-yard game-winning drive where he capped off the victory with a one-yard sneak into the end zone.
15. Atlanta Falcons (2-2)
In a low-scoring game with the Vikings featuring 7 field goals between the two teams, Bijan Robinson managed 143 yards on the ground and another 25 receiving. The Falcons defense had a great game, racking up 2 interceptions, 6 sacks, the most in Week 2, and 5 tackles for loss.
16. Seattle Seahawks (3-1)
After an exciting offseason where they brought in free agents Sam Darnold and Cooper Kupp while trading Geno Smith and DK Metcalf, the Seahawks had a poor game in Week 1 where they only scored once. However, in Week 2 the Seahawks dominated the Steelers, forcing 2 interceptions and holding them to only one touchdown. Kenneth Walker, after only having 20 rushing yards in his first game, put up a 105-yard and one-touchdown performance to help the Seahawks to their first win of the season.

17. Houston Texans (1-3)
The Texans have the worst offense in terms of points per game, only outputting 9 points in Week 1 and 19 in Week 2. The last time they finished with a mark under 20 points per game, they ended up receiving the second overall pick after going 3-13-1. In contrast, the Texans’ defense has been great, allowing only 19 points per game. In their Monday night game against the Bucs, C.J. Stroud led a quick touchdown drive where he threw a deep pass to Nico Collins in the end zone, but the Texans couldn’t find the end zone for the rest of the game until late in the fourth quarter, when Nick Chubb ran in a 25-yard touchdown. Unfortunately, Baker Mayfield led the Bucs 80 yards and into the end zone with just six seconds left to claim the Bucs’ win.
18. Pittsburgh Steelers (3-1)
After a dominant Week 1 performance by Aaron Rodgers in which he threw for 244 yards and 4 touchdowns, he threw 2 interceptions in a loss to the Seahawks. Like the Seahawks, the Steelers also had a big offseason, acquiring Aaron Rodgers and trading with the Seahawks to get DK Metcalf. They also waived 2 of their quarterbacks from last year, Russel Wilson and Justin Fields, and their starting running back from last year, Najee Harris.
19. Dallas Cowboys (1-2)
In a high-scoring, overtime game against the Giants, Brandon Aubrey made 4 field goals, one of which was the game winner. This, paired with the Cowboys’ nearly unstoppable passing game and their improving running game, is why the Cowboys are a team that you might want to watch out for.
20. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-1)
Trevor Lawrence does not have the best stats this season. He has thrown 3 interceptions and has an abysmal 58.9% completion percentage. While this is very bad, this is largely due to the Jaguars leading the league with the most drops. On a positive note, the Jaguars have the most rushing yards, led by Travis Etienne returning from a quiet 558-yard season in 2024.
21. Minnesota Vikings (2-2)
JJ McCarthy looked terrible in Week 1 until he exploded for his only three touchdowns of the game in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, in Week 2 he threw 2 interceptions and led the Vikings to a touchdownless performance. Even worse, JJ got injured late in the third quarter and is projected to miss two to four weeks with a high ankle sprain.
22. Arizona Cardinals (2-2)
While the Cardinals are undefeated, they have had 2 close wins against the Saints and the Panthers. A big part of why they won those games is because of their strong rushing attack. Between Kyler Murray, James Conner, and Trey Benson, it is clear why this rushing trio can be hard to stop. Paired with one of the best tight ends in the league, Trey McBride, and an explosive, young receiver in Marvin Harrison Jr., the Cardinals offense has one of the highest potentials in the NFL.
23. Chicago Bears (2-2)
The Bears were terrible against the Lions. The defense let Jared Goff score 5 times against them, and they didn’t do much better against the run, allowing 2 touchdowns. The offense also struggled, giving up 2 turnovers. The only bright spot that comes from this game is Caleb Williams’ strong connection with Rome Odunze, where they connected 7 times for 128 yards and 2 touchdowns.
24. Las Vegas Raiders (1-3)
In the 2025 NFL draft, the Raiders took Ashton Jeanty, one of the most touted running back prospects ever entering the draft. While Jeanty hasn’t had the best first two games, he still has a lot of time to develop into one of the best players in the league. The Raiders offense has had a very slow start entering the season. Along with Ashton Jeanty, Geno Smith is also underperforming, throwing only one touchdown compared to 2 interceptions. This slow start is going to have to dissolve quickly if they want to have any chance at being a contender.
25. New England Patriots (2-2)
In last week’s win against the Dolphins, Drake Maye looked very good, completing 19 of his 23 passes and throwing two touchdown passes. He also had 31 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. The Patriots offense is set to improve drastically from last year after adding Stefon Diggs and TreVeyon Henderson to the squad, which should help boost Drake Maye’s development going into this season.

26. New York Jets (0-3)
In Week 1, Justin Fields had one of the best games of his career with 218 passing yards and a touchdown while throwing with solid accuracy. He also had 48 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. However, in Week 2, he heavily struggled against the Bills defense, going 3 for 11 on his passes and finishing with only 27 yards and 2 fumbles before he suffered a concussion in the fourth quarter.
27. Tennessee Titans (0-4)
Cam Ward has looked like the clear number one quarterback in the 2025 draft. While his stats don’t look great, he had an impressive first touchdown, scrambling out of the pocket and then launching a perfect cross-body throw to his receiver, Elic Ayomanor. Unfortunately, the Titans defense will be significantly worse, as their defensive tackle, T’Vondre Sweat, is set to miss 4 weeks.
28. New York Giants (1-3)
The Giants’ offense looked great against the Cowboys. Russell Wilson threw for 450 yards and 3 touchdowns. Receivers Malik Nabers and Wan’Dale Robinson were amazing, combining for over 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. The run game looked solid with fourth-round pick Cam Skattebo taking 11 carries for 45 yards and a touchdown.
29. Miami Dolphins (0-3)
The Dolphins defense has looked terrible, allowing more than 30 points in all 3 of their games. Their offense hasn’t been good either, with Tua Tagovailoa throwing 4 interceptions and fumbling once. The Dolphins are 0-3 and have a relatively easy schedule coming up, so they are expecting a win soon.
30. Cleveland Browns (1-3)
The Browns offense is poor. Joe Flacco has thrown 3 interceptions, their running backs have combined for only 82 yards per game, and they have the third most drops in the league with 5. The Browns have one of the most crowded quarterback rooms, with rookies Shedeur Sanders and Dylan Gabriel competing to earn the starting role over Joe Flacco.
31. Carolina Panthers (1-3)
Bryce Young didn’t do very well in his Week 1 game, where he threw 2 interceptions and completed just over half of his passes. However, in Week 2 it was a different story. He had a career high in yards and completions to lead the Panthers into a close game where he couldn’t handle the late-game pressure and took a sack on fourth down.
32. New Orleans Saints (0-4)
While Spencer Rattler still hasn’t won a game yet, his first two games this season have already shown improvement since his first start in 2024. He had one of the best games of his career against the 49ers, where he threw for 207 yards and a career-high 3 touchdowns.
