Intro

After a long day of school, most students might find themselves very hungry. Since the cafeteria is closed and Ranger Connection sells only snacks, most students are left famished with no place to eat. Well, you’re in luck because there is a delicious restaurant across the street. Founded by Corey McCauley and Jeffrey Kowitz in 2006, Taco Joint is known as one of the best Tex-Mex restaurants in Dallas. It is best known for its breakfast tacos and migas tacos.

Food

Taco Joint’s menu primarily consists of Tex Mex tacos, breakfast burritos and tacos, soup, enchiladas, salad, and so much more! Each item has a very reasonable price, fitting the average student’s budget, making the restaurant’s menu available to everyone. Taco Joint has a wide range for the quantity of food you can purchase. From savory tortilla soup to the “PHAT 40 TACO TRAY” or “The Amazing Wonderjoint: 4lbs breakfast burrito.” Taco Joint also has various fountain drinks such as Dr. Pepper, Coca-Cola, Sprite, etc. After you order, your food will arrive in minutes.

Location/Interior

Taco Joint is located on Inwood, which is just across the street from Jesuit College Preparatory. The location of Taco Joint about us makes it one of the most accessible restaurants nearby. The inside of the store is even better than the exterior, its cozy booths and unique artwork provide a lively atmosphere for your meal. If you aren’t a fan of booths, then Taco Joint has a variety of comfortable seats and tables around the restaurant.

Recommendation

If this article has convinced you to eat at Taco Joint, here are my menu recommendations. The ground sirloin tacos are a great inexpensive meal. If you are looking for a more filling meal I would recommend the “BIG B” burrito. Which is an enormous 14″ flour tortilla filled with your choice of meat and stuffed with refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.

Conclusion

I think that Taco Joint is a great restaurant that everyone at Jesuit should consider trying. It has great food, staff, and seating. The food tastes great and doesn’t put you into financial debt. Taco Joint’s proximity to Jesuit also adds to its goodness.
