End to the Fall Golf Season

The golf ball silently prances over the swaying grass, inching ever so closely towards the hole. It quickly but silently rotates across the foliage, and, with the crowd keenly watching, falls into the hole in the nick of time.

The Jesuit golf team has practiced tirelessly for the past semester and scored great wins in their two November tournaments, with all their hard work quickly paying off.

Interviews

Coach Marino was thrilled with the growth and improvement of the team, stating that “It was great to finish off a successful Fall season with two wins in November in windy conditions. The teams showed good improvement throughout the Fall and it should be an exciting Spring season!”

Similarly, Anthony Adams ’23 said, “I thought the team played well overall and that everyone finished well based on how we started. During the tournament, I felt pretty confident, and although I wasn’t playing like I wanted to, I was still glad we were constantly improving our scores as a team with every hole played.”

All in all, the golf team improved tremendously over this semester through their determination and strengthened bond between the team.
