Qdoba Wins

-

For all those out there who favor Chipotle’s burrito over Qdoba’s there can be only one excuse: they’ve never tried Qdoba.
In my opinion Qdoba’s masterpiece beats Chipotle’s in every way. Whether it’s the choice of ingredients available – Qudoba has 2 more starting meat options than Chipotle, counting the vegetarian option – or their ability to wrap the giant tortilla around the ingredients so that it won’t spill or break, Qdoba shows they are the Picasso of the art of burrito making.

However, for me it comes down to two qualities Qdoba has that Chipotle does not: Queso and the mixing of ingredients inside the burrito. Qdoba’s option of warm queso is far preferred by many to the shredded cheese offered at Chipotle. The queso offers a unique cheesy taste that spreads throughout your burrito, making it Qdoba’s signature ingredient.

Finally, the most underappreciated aspect of Qdoba is the mixing option. After you have chosen all of your ingredients you can ask the server to mix up all of your ingredients so that, once wrapped, you won’t eat each ingredient in sections. Instead you will get the perfect blend of all the flavors in every bite, largely improving the experience. As you can see, Qdoba’s many extra qualities make it the staple when it comes to burrito making.
