Theatre Features a Promotional Video for Senior One Acts

-

Jesuit Theater kicks off the 2010 year with the highly anticipated Senior One Acts.  Mr. Myers, director of Jesuit theater, calculated that “last year the two One Act productions attracted more than 1,200 audience members.” In addition, the One Acts, according to Myers, are “a great opportunity for anyone to get onstage,” and experience the thrill of being in a cast.  For senior director Ray Wilcox, he “can’t wait for the One Acts and it will definitely be a lot of fun to direct.”  Additional directors this year include Luc Johnson, Kevin Kolker, Patrick Jones, Cameron Brown, Joe Kaplan, Ray Wilcox, Mark Ross, Connor Capetillo, Justin Buskmiller and Chase Scott. These directors are easy to work for, and the productions do not require a substantial amount of time, even for those already involved in after school activities. Myers adds, ”This group of seniors is smart.  Their GPA’s are a bit higher than the usual bunch- but they also know how to have fun.”  The auditions for the Senior One Acts are open to anyone who wants to perform as well as those who wish to watch and enjoy from the safe perspective of the audience.

Auditions will be held on October 12th at 4:00 in the lecture hall.
