The Jesuit tennis team finished their fall season dominating Irving, Coppell, Longview, and Lake Highlands in very intense and high-energy matches throughout the weeks of competitive play. The team has finished with a high winning record and hopes to continue the high-intensity mentality to the Spring Season. Over the fall season, the team has had a chance to grow relationships with each other, especially with the new freshman class, and create a successful season. The results of the last matches are mentioned below.
Coach McDaniel said, “We played a very challenging schedule with four of the teams who are still in the top four brackets of team tennis in the fall. We were competitive against those teams who were better than us. I think we did really well in the season, and the freshmen got a lot of good experience.”

Dillon Blanton said, “I think the season went pretty well even though we could have probably won a couple more matches. Overall I think the team played pretty well together and I enjoyed getting to know the new players. I hope we can do well at districts and regionals and hopefully win state.”

Against Irving, sophomore Carson Voegtle led the way with an 8-2 decision at top-flight singles, teaming up with freshman Jack Hardy to secure an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles. Hardy earned an 8-0 win of his own at third-flight singles, while junior Aadhi Anbuchezhiyan (8-2), freshman Dashel Glasgow (8-0), sophomore Sam Creighton (8-0), freshman Branch Dallman (8-0), junior Neel Manne (8-2) and junior Eli Trauner (8-0) picked up victories in singles.
The pairings of Anbuchezhiyan and Glasgow (8-0), Creighton and Dallman (8-0), and Manne and Trauner (8-2) wrapped up the Jesuit Dallas sweep.
Lake Highlands (10/4)
After rain canceled the singles matches against Lake Highlands earlier this season, the Rangers returned to beat the Wild Cats.
