Four Jesuit Athletes Sign National Letter of Intent

On Wednesday, November 8, four Jesuit athletes each representing a different athletic program within the Jesuit community, officially signed their national letter of intent to play college athletics during the fall signing day. These are the first four of many athletes to sign this year who have committed to play NCAA athletics.

The signing is important because it officially closes an athlete’s recruiting and makes the athlete ineligible to play for another school next year without risking suspension. The signing is also a culmination in a sense of all that they have worked for in their youth and high school athletic career and initiates the next chapter of it. The athletes were surrounded by their family, friends, teammates, coaches, and peers who were there to celebrate their accomplishments.

Max Chan ’24

Max Chan is a senior at Jesuit who has committed to play Division I golf at New Mexico State University.

Beckett Foley ’24

Beckett Foley is a current senior at Jesuit who has committed to play Division I lacrosse at Iona University.

Jaxx Rigeslky ’24

Jaxx Rigelsky is a current senior at Jesuit who has committed to play Division III baseball at Centenary College in Louisiana.

William Savarese ’24

William Savarese is a current senior at Jesuit who has committed to swim at the Division I level for Michigan University.
