Dylan Dotter is the Sports Editor of the Roundup, overseeing the sports content produced by the newspaper. Dylan enjoys digging deep into all types of pieces, ranging from profiles to events, to find the details that are not known by the everyday person. He receives a great deal of joy from providing the Jesuit community with information to be well informed and better equipped to navigate the world around them.
As I sat down to take in my first viewing of the Jesuit Senior One Acts last Friday night, I was overcome with a sense of community. When I saw parents, friends, teachers, alumni (recent and not so recent) enter the Lecture Hall and interact with one another, it became extremely apparent that the theater participants, theater alumni, and...
Twice a year, beautiful masterpieces, ranging from black and white drawings to intricately decorated painted kites grace the halls of Jesuit College Prep. But what makes these pieces of art special is not their beauty, which they certainly possess; it is the fact that our fellow students created them. At the end of each semester, the art department displays the stunning creations of students who took part in the...
Last weekend, students, families, and refugees gathered in the gyms of Jesuit College Prep for the American African Outreach Society Basketball Tournament. Mullan grew up in Toledo, Ohio, the son of...

The season began with 10 straight victories, including a 4 OT thriller versus state ranked North Crowley Panthers. However after Christmas break, the Rangers hit a snag dropping both games versus Richardson and a tough loss against Lake Highlands. Yet, the Jesuit...
Every year, a new class of seniors embarks on a series of retreats that are designed to allow students to enter a journey into the soul. The experience means to provide seniors a chance to find out God in their personal lives, as well as a reprieve from the daily grind and answer personal questions they may have as...
On January 10, Jesuit held its 31st Meintser Soccer Tournament. As usual, Jesuit rolled over the competition to kick off the 2013 season, while still honoring a Legend in soccer history.   Every year Jesuit invites teams from around the metroplex to play in the Meintser Tournament which first started in 1982 to honor Henricus "Henk" Meintser. Henk Meintser was born...
Have you ever walked by the small gym at Jesuit on Friday and seen people smashing into each other and hurling a small soccer ball? Well if you have, then you have seen the new Handball Club, which was founded earlier this year by Thomas Salyer ’14 and Seth Sebastian ’14. It originated after Salyer “watched it on television during...
