The seal consists of four parts:<\/p>\n<p>1. William Underhill drew a crown of thorns to represent endurance and the letter J to represent the Jesuit fathers<br \/>\n2. Robert Mullen designed the Lone Star surrounded by a laurel wreath to represent Texas and its honor and dignity<br \/>\n3. David O\u2019Brien drew a cowboy on a bucking bronco to represent the early days of Texas industry<\/p>\n<p>(The Roundup 2\/23\/43)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In February of 1943 three students created the school seal.
